Order through their website to get in-store prices. Free delivery within 4 km of the restaurant, which is rare in Ottawa. Food is tasty. They say they don’t use MSG and I think that’s true because I was not super thirsty after eating. Good portion, fair prices, well packed. Best containers I’ve seen for takeout. Wish they had some better Szechuan menu options and would be better if the online order menu had photos. Ordered: - combo 3 - oriental house chow mien - crispy beef with spicy sauce (comes with rice). Note: it was not crispy just breaded with sauce
This is the best Chinese in the city hands down. It is always fresh and delicious. The service is excellent and the delivery drivers are super friendly. Tonight they forgot a very small item in my order but it was an item i really wanted, I called to let them know and shortly after my call it was delivered to my door. I highly recommend Oriental house.
Attentive & friendly staff & good food. Found this place while searching for Chinese food near our hotel. The staff greeting us are very all friendly & attentive. We ordered wonton soup, lemon chicken & egg fu yong plus Chinese tea. Food is really good & fresh, & the chef is kind enough to serve the lemon sauce & the batter-fried chicken separately - so that they won't be soggy after awhile - good thinking! The waitress is also kind enough to inform us the people here likes to go their egg fu yong with gravy (it's a western thing she told us) & it is up to us whether we want gravy too (at that point she already brought out a bowl of gravy in case we want it - which we politely decline). Rice portion is huge too! Will definitely come here again if we're visiting Ottawa again! Highly recommended!

Hands down the freshest and best western style chinese food in ottawa. Also the most affordable. Quick delivery, good selection.
Their combos are so big, and we end up having 2 meals. No excessive oil, overly sweet, crazy msg addition or cheap out chicken balls with dough like many other places. Prompt delivery since service from the house. I will be happy to support them again in the future …
Great food for a very reasonable price! We found it to be quite light and fresh tasting and had good portions. They were flexible with modifying our dishes to fit vegan diet and fish allergies!
Decided to get delivery when staying in Ottawa with my family. The food was excellent, arriving in 20 minutes from the time we placed the order. We used Oriental House’s own delivery and the driver was very polite and prompt. The garlic ribs, szechwan chicken, pork fried rice and sweet and sour chicken balls were all very good. We would recommend this restaurant.
